These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hexis AI Governance website (hexis.center) and the purchase of digital products offered through our authorised sales channels. By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2.1 Free Online Tools

Hexis provides free AI governance tools through hexis.center, including the Risk Classifier, Governance Activation Matrix Generator, EU AI Act Compliance Checklist, and Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment (FRIA) tool. These tools are provided "as is" for informational and educational purposes.

2.2 Digital Products

Hexis offers paid digital products such as the EU AI Act Compliance Starter Kit, which includes downloadable templates in Excel (.xlsx) and PDF formats. Digital products are sold through authorised platforms including LemonSqueezy (hexis.lemonsqueezy.com) and Etsy (etsy.com/shop/HexisGovernance).

2.3 Product Delivery

All digital products are delivered as instant downloads immediately after successful payment. No manual intervention is required. You will receive a download link via the sales platform and a confirmation email.

3. Payment and Pricing

Prices are displayed in the currency of the respective sales platform (EUR on LemonSqueezy, USD on Etsy). All prices include applicable taxes where required by law.

3.1 Merchant of Record

Payments processed through LemonSqueezy are handled by Lemon Squeezy LLC as the Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, sales tax collection, and VAT compliance on behalf of Hexis. For purchases on Etsy, Etsy Inc. processes payments according to their own terms.

3.2 Payment Security

We do not store or have access to your payment card details. All payment processing is handled securely by our authorised sales platforms and their payment processors.

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the digital products for your organisation's internal compliance purposes. Specifically:

All content on hexis.center, including but not limited to the ORIENT methodology, tool designs, text, graphics, and digital product templates, is the intellectual property of Hexis AI Governance and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

The ORIENT framework (Observe, Risk, Identify, Evaluate, Navigate, Track) is a proprietary methodology developed by Hexis AI Governance.

Important: Hexis products and tools are designed to assist organisations with EU AI Act and KVKK compliance orientation. They do not constitute legal advice. The templates and tools should be used as starting points and supplemented with professional legal counsel appropriate to your jurisdiction and specific circumstances.

While Hexis strives to ensure accuracy in all regulatory references (including EU AI Act article numbers, deadlines, and obligations), regulations may be amended. Users are responsible for verifying current regulatory requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hexis AI Governance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our tools, templates, or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product in question.
